Came here with some friends for lunch. It was a cozy spot while we sat at the bar, which was comfortable. Chris was great. He took our orders and made sure our water glasses were ful. The hit sake was nice for a colder type of day alon with the miso soup that came with our lunch combo. My spicy tuna rolls were delicious while my steak was really tender. (got it medium rare.) The chicken was flavorful as well. The amount of fried rice was more than enough for two people. Would recommend trying for anyone who enjoys hibachi style food or sushi.

Pros- good cook, good show, great filet mignon, great sushi, good salmon, good rice, and veggies. Hibachi is really great here. Cons- expensive, of course, although not really more so than sushi/hibachi options. There was quite a wait to be seated. Hope to go again after wallet recovers!

Due to a miscommunication, we had to order for a party of 20, just a few hours before the event. Allison, the host that day, was incredibly helpful and professional, called me back as she said she would, and got everything entered correctly. Justin took my payment when I called back, and was very friendly and also professional. When we came to pick up at the agreed upon time, when we pick it up, everything was perfect. Our guests raved about the food! At a time when good staff is hard to find, Bonsai Garden is blessed to have a team that works well together and understands the importance of good customer service. Thank you for helping me out of a potentially embarrassing situation. We will be back!

Excellent food and service. The sushi is the best in town. Update: Four years later, this is still a staple restaurant for us. The volcano roll is always a star attraction at our table. If you sit at a booth, be prepared for a hard wooden seat, otherwise a wonderful dining experience.

Staff were well knowledgeable about items available on the menu. They provided very professional, responsible, helpful, and friendly services. The owner/owners and supervisor/supervisors should be very proud to have them as part of a team at a great restaurant. It was a great experience. See you all soon!
